SM SUPERMALLS BINIGYANG PARANGAL SA PAGSUPORTA SA NATIONAL VACCINATION PROGRAM

Ginawaran ng pagkilala ng pamahalaan ang SM Supermalls bilang pinakamalaking private sector na kapartner sa National Vaccination and VaxCertPH Programs ng  DILG, DOH, DTI at DICT gayundin ang kanilang pakikiisa sa paglalagay ng DTI Safety Seal sa kanilang 76 malls.

Ang pagbibigay parangal ay kasabay din ng pagkilala sa mga Best Performing Local Government Units (LGUs) na may malaking bahaging ginampanan sa  vaccination programs sa kani-kanilang lugar.

Pinangunahan ni DILG Secretary Eduardo Año  ang pagbibigay parangal sa mga nagwagi na ginanap sa Mall of Asia noong Marso 22 kung saan nagbigay ng pambungad na mensahe si Mr. Steven Tan, President ng SM Supermalls.

Ayon kay Año naging malaking tulong ang hindi matatawarang effort na ginawa ng mga awardees para malabanan ang pandemya at maging huwaran sana sa iba pang sektor at lokal na pamahalaan ang kanilang ginawa .

“The victory of today’s winners are founded on their cooperation and support to these programs which have changed the landscape of the country’s COVID-19 response. Pagbati sa inyong tagumpay at hangad namin na kayo ay pamarisan ng iba pang mga LGU sa bansa,” ayon kay Año.

Sa kaniyang video message, binati naman ni President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, ang mga nagwagi dahil sa kanilang buong suporta sa pamahalaan na maipatupad ang mahahalagang proyekto upang mapaglabanan ang pandemya dulot ng Covid 19 virus.

“Salute to all the recipients of this day’s awards for your robust commitment and partnership with the national government as we altogether implement these programs down to the grassroots. I know and acknowledge that without your support, we would have not surmounted the past two years of this pandemic. Kaya nais kong ipaabot sa inyo ang aking taos-pusong pasasalamat,” ayon kay Pangulong Duterte.

‘Bayanihan Bakunahan’

For the ‘2nd Doses Accomplishment’ category, Zamboanga City was named first placer, while Ilocos Norte was the best-performing province in the ‘A2 Doses’ category. Nueva Ecija took first place in the ‘Total Doses Administered’ category.

In the VaxcertPH awards, Marikina, Iloilo, and Davao were named best performing LGUs in the Highly Urbanized City (HUC) category; in the Component City/Independent Component City (CC/ICC) category, Antipolo City, Rizal was named winner for Luzon; Roxas City, Capiz was named winner for Visayas; and Malaybalay City, Bukidnon was named winner for Mindanao. San Simon, Pampanga received the citation for Luzon; Caluya, Antique received the recognition for Visayas; and Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon received the award for Mindanao.
